Content Policy
Version 2026-10-07.1 · in effect since October 7, 2026
These are the rules for everything on Inktuition: the ideas you type, the designs we generate, the images in the swipe deck, artist profiles and messages. Each rule has a number. Whenever we remove or decline something, we record the number of the rule it broke.
CP-1 · Never allowed
Removed every time, wherever it appears: ideas and prompts, generated designs, swipe-deck images, artist profiles and messages.
- CP-1.1Sexual content involving a minor. Zero tolerance, and reported where the law requires it.
- CP-1.2Explicit sexual imagery: genitals, sex acts or pornographic content.
- CP-1.3Hate symbols or hate-group imagery, such as a swastika used as hate iconography, SS bolts, klan imagery, or a slur as text.
- CP-1.4Imagery that glorifies real-world violence against identifiable real people or groups.
- CP-1.5Imagery that instructs, glorifies or graphically depicts a method of self-harm or suicide.
Allowed: Skulls, blood, demons, weapons, dark or macabre themes, religious imagery, artistic nude figures without explicit genital detail, pin-up figures, and memorial, mental-health and recovery pieces.
When we are unsure whether something falls under “Never allowed”, a person reviews it.
When the filter is not sure
A clear match with “Never allowed” is refused before anything is generated, and you are told why.
When the filter is not sure, we still make your design but keep it private until a person has looked at it. You can view, download and refine it meanwhile. Sharing it, sending it to an artist, or attaching it to a message opens once it is released.
If a held design is removed, we record which rule applied.
CP-2 · Quality and fit
Applies to images in the swipe deck, not to the designs you make.
- CP-2.1Not tattoo art or a usable reference.
- CP-2.2Too low quality to use.
- CP-2.3Tagged with the wrong style or subject.
- CP-2.4A duplicate of something already here.
- CP-2.5Does not fit what Inktuition is for.
CP-3 · Other people’s work
Applies to everything on Inktuition.
- CP-3.1Content that infringes someone else’s copyright or other intellectual property.
Rights holders can send a notice through the report page. We remove infringing content and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.
CP-4 · Real identities
Applies to artist profiles and to requests to claim a listing.
- CP-4.1Impersonation or a false identity.
- CP-4.2Incomplete or unverifiable information.
- CP-4.3Ownership or identity that could not be verified.
CP-5 · Spam
Applies to profiles, claims and messages.
- CP-5.1Spam or fake submissions.
CP-0 · Anything else
Something that breaks our Terms but none of the rules above.
We still write down the reason.
How we check
- An automated filter reads every idea before a design is generated.
- Images join the swipe deck only after a person approves them. An automated check may suggest a decision; a person makes it.
- Anyone can flag a deck image. It leaves their deck at once and goes to review. Once a second account flags it, nobody sees it until it has been reviewed.
- Every removal or refusal is recorded with the rule it broke, and the person it affects is told which rule, in plain words, by email when we have an address and in the app.
- To appeal, reply to that email. A person reviews every appeal, and a decision we got wrong is reversed.
Reporting
See something that breaks these rules? Report it at inktuition.app/report: copyright, an intimate image shared without consent, or anything unsafe. We review every report.
